Moms respond to Motrin via Twitter and YouTube

Motrin came out with a ad targeting babywearing moms with something like "We feel your pain". This did not go well with Moms. Makes you wonder who they consulted before coming up with this ad.

Moms are angry with MOTRIN and they have taken to Twitter and YouTube to express their displeasure. Result: As of this writing Motrin's website was down. They might be taking their ad down.

I quickly put together a page which shows "Motrin/Mom Chatter" on Twitter. In addition I pull in videos related to "Motrin Moms" from YouTube. All this is shown on Google Maps.

The Stock Market tanked again yesterday. We are back to more or less where we were at the beginning of the week. So what are folks talking about the current state of the Stock Market. Twitter, YouTube, Blogs, Print Media are some of the places where one can find, what is being discussed about the current Stock Market situation.

With the ongoing Bailout drama in Washington DC, I quickly put together a Mashup (Twitter + Google Maps + YouTube) which shows what the "Main Steet" thinks/talking about this bailout.

Hurricane IKE - Twitter Chatter + YouTube Videos

Ike, an extremely dangerous Category 4 hurricane with winds of 135 miles was just east of Great Inagua Island, Bahamas, the National Hurricane Center said at 8 a.m. Miami time. The storm is moving west and is forecast to hit eastern Cuba tonight and then will be below the Florida Keys by Sept 9.

Hurricane Gustav - Extremely Dangerous

"Extremely Dangerous" - that' what a majority of news outlets are reporting about Hurricane Gustav. Latest reports on Hurricane Gustav is that it is now a Category 4 storm with wind speeds up to 145 miles. Plane dangles from high voltage power lines near Durach, Germany

BBC is reporting that

Two people have been rescued from a light aircraft which hit power lines near Durach, in southern Germany.

It took emergency services two hours to get the trapped occupants out of the plane which was left dangling 30 metres (100 feet) above the ground.

Rescuers on the scene believe the plane's undercarriage clipped the 380,000 volt power line shortly after taking off from a nearby airport.

YouTube + Google Maps: Who is uploading what and from where

I have created a Google Maps Mashup which shows the most recent videos being uploaded to YouTube. The videos which are show are all geotagged. You will notice the forward and backward arrows located at the top right corner of the map. Clicking the forward arrow will take you to the next video and clicking the back arrow will take you to the previous video. The updated time shown in the pop up window is Pacific (California) Time. Enjoy!!
