Twitter Voter Reports from across the country on Google Maps

TwitterVoterReport.com is a website where voters
will be able to share their experiences and resources with one another (e.g. “#wait:120″ meaning that the wait time is 120 minutes). These messages will then be aggregated and mapped on Google Maps so that we can “see” voting problems around the country in real-time.
A great team was behind this project and one of them is TWITTERVISION fame: David Troy who just today has been featured in Baltimore Sun which also covers David Troy's role in the Twitter Voter Reports project.

To embed a state-specific map on your site, use the following code:(replacing MI with your 2 letter state code)

<iframe src="http://votereport.us/reports/map?state=MI" frameborder="0" class="stream" width="535" height="500" scrolling="no" ></iframe>

Stock Market Chatter on Twitter

The Stock Market tanked again yesterday. We are back to more or less where we were at the beginning of the week. So what are folks talking about the current state of the Stock Market. Twitter, YouTube, Blogs, Print Media are some of the places where one can find, what is being discussed about the current Stock Market situation.

I have pulled content from Twitter and YouTube which shows the current Stock Market Chatter.

With the ongoing Bailout drama in Washington DC, I quickly put together a Mashup (Twitter + Google Maps + YouTube) which shows what the "Main Steet" thinks/talking about this bailout.

Election '08 Twitter Chatter

Did you watch Saturday Night Live? It was hilarious. Tina Fey looks so much like Sarah Palin. Last I checked on Twitter there were lot of folks talking about SNL.

Check out who and from where folks are talking about Sarah Palin and Lipsticks and Saturday Night Live and other Presidential Candidates in this Mashup of Google Maps + Twitter + YouTube Videos.

Google Hot Trends + Twitter Search

I got the idea for this mashup yesterday morning while looking into Twitter API's. Couple of weeks back I had created a Google Maps Mashup of Google Hot Trends which showed Top 10 cities where the search is originating from. But this mashup was looking at historical data.

So Google Hot Trends + Twitter Search mashup is an attempt at looking into why certain keywords on Google Search is trending up by looking into who is twittering that keyword. (Also check out the version for India).
