Turn a Hamburger into Cheeseburger and you get fired #mcdonalds #fail

McDonalds fast food chain in Lemmer, Netherlands fired a worker who
sold a hamburger to a co-worker who then asked for cheese, which she added.
McDonald gave this excuse for firing
this turned the hamburger into a cheeseburger, and so she should have charged more. She had broken staff rules prohibiting free gifts to family, friends or colleagues.
Fortunately for the worker the courts in Netherlands ordered McDonalds to pay the former employee more than 4,200 euros ($5,900; £3,660) for the last five months of her contract. In a written statement the court said
The dismissal was too severe a measure. It is just a slice of cheese
(via BBC)
BTW ... here is the Google Maps Street View of the McDonalds restaurant in Lemmer, Netherlands:

Heaven in Brooklyn?

Here's a Google Maps Street View of "gateway to heaven" in Brooklyn.

However...

Google spokeswoman Elaine Filadelfo says
"If you spin around in the panorama, you can see the shadow of the car which indicates that the sun was pretty direct on that front lens... These are not uncommon in Street View imagery, but they're usually much less dramatic!"

Tip: if you hold Pegman over a location for a second, you'll see a preview of what it looks like. Which direction you're facing depends on which side of the street you drag to
(more info at: Google Lat Long)

Here's Pegman on top of the world :)

Buy 1 car get another for $1

A Chrysler Dealership (Mancari's Chrysler-Jeep) in Oak Lawn, IL has found a innovative way to sell cars in this horrible economy. So what is the dealership doing. (via)
With the purchase of a new Chrysler Pacifica, for the sticker price, Mancari's Chrysler-Jeep owner Frank Mancari will include a slightly used PT Cruiser for $1. The offer is likely aimed at households with multiple drivers, maybe teenagers, where the addition of a lightly used vehicle makes sense.

The PT Cruisers are former rental vehicles with about 10,000 miles on them. They normally retail for $12,000 to $13,000. The Pacifica goes for $39,000 and gets 14/22 mpg city/highway.
If interested in visiting this dealer then here's Google Maps Street View of the Dealership.

Google Maps Street View catches Fire but where is the fire Hydrant?

Google Maps Street View captures a house on fire in Sherwood, Arkansas. If you go to Google Maps (Street View Mode) you can see Fire Trucks in front of the house. What is puzzling is that Google has removed one of the images but as of now there are still couple of more images which can still be seen. Here is one of them: (via DIGG)

But the interesting thing to note in this image is that isn't the fire hydrant a bit too far here? Look at the length of the fire hose in this image
