Your Latest Twitter Status on Google Maps

My latest Google Maps Mashup takes your latest Twitter Status Update along with your profile location and displays it on Google Maps. The more detailed your profile location is, the higher the zoom level. So if you have a iPhone generated profile location (which is in the form of (latitude, longitude)) you will get the highest zoom level. Here's the url: (replace mibazaar at the end of the url with your twitter user id.

http://www.mibazaar.com/twitstat.php?uid=mibazaar

You can Embed the map in your website. Here's the code!! Replace the mibazaar user id in BOLD with your Twitter user id

<iframe width="425" height="425" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://www.mibazaar.com/twitstat.php?uid=mibazaar"></iframe><br /><small><a href="http://www.mibazaar.com/twitstat.php?uid=mibazaar" style="color:#0000FF;text-align:left">View Larger Map</a></small>

Would love to see this, but it's not displaying for me.

Any ideas why not?

Ok, seems to be an Internet Explorer problem.

I clicked on your url:

http://www.mibazaar.com/twitstat.php?uid=mibazaar

and got a nondescript error message (and operation aborted) in Internet Explorer, but it works fine in Firefox.

Embed also doesn't show up in IE but does in Firefox.

Sorry Helen and everyone else. It was my problem.
When I assigned "new GMap2...." to "map" variable I forgot to declare the variable like (var map;) before I used it.
Mozilla and safari were very forgiving whereas IE was not :(

Anyway now it seems to work. Again sorry for that.

Hi Virender,

I was wondering if you would give your permission for me to use your code on my personal website?

Thanks
Kevin
