Nevada Town bans foreign flags

Pahrump, Nevada bans display of foreign flags.

According to CNN:
The town council voted last week, 3-2, to approve an ordinance that makes it illegal to display a foreign flag -- unless an American flag is flown above it.

Pahrump resident Michael Miraglia proposed the ban because, he said, he got upset when he saw immigrant activists marching through U.S. cities last spring, waving Mexican flags. Mr. Miraglia told USA Today that he was especially miffed that "we had Mexican restaurants closed that day."

So that's what started all this -- the fact that some guy couldn't get his burrito fix...

Hi from Pahrump, NV.

We aren't ALL this looney, really, I promise.

Okay, yes, we have quite a collection of insane hillbillies who have moved here but there are a fair number of us fighting them.

We're at war here and so far we have the ACLU, several of the newly elected board members, the county sheriff and our local newspaper on our side.

Thank you for publicizing this though, the more it gets heard out there the faster we can kill this thing.
